The entire cast of RHONY reunited for the first time since Aviva Drescher’s iconic leg throw, which rivals the table flip and the wig pull in housewives history. It’s quite stunning and after watching the clip about a thousand times, I’m still not desensitized to that mess. Whatever producer convinced her to do that deserves a huge raise. Hopefully tonight’s finale will help the ratings-challenged masterpiece that is RHONY’s sixth season. Anyway, read on to see the trailer for the entire reunion.

RHONY: Out With the Old, In With the New

It’s been over a year since we’ve seen the New York housewives and they want to make sure we know it. Episode one was a way for us to play catch up with all the women and figure out where we’re at in their lives. Some things never change (Sonja has a hot young boyfriend, who would’ve imagined?) and some things are trying desperately to change (Aviva makes sex jokes and takes shots). The Countess is Cut! Meet RHONY Newcomer Kristen Taekman!

That’s right! The one-upping, Frenchman loving, queen of class is cut from Real Housewives of New York City! However, she wasn’t completely fired. She was given a recurring role on the show and if the season six supertrailer is any indication, we’ll see her often. Probably about as much as Camille Grammar on RHOBH season three. It didn’t take her long to dish the details of her demotion to E! Online.

We’ve waited over a year for the NYC wives’ return and it looks like this season is going to put the previous one to shame. Let’s start with the obvious before we even get to the trailer- the Countess is no longer a full-time housewife! She’s been cut out of the cast photo, left without a tag line and reduced to a recurring role. I could not be more thrilled!
