Finally, one of the most frustrating and irritating seasons in Real Housewives history is over. Usually I have nothing but love for my favorite franchise, but I honestly couldn’t wait for this one to be over. Gone is the fun and campiness and extravagance that I fell in love with. Most of the time I don’t write posts about my personal ideas, but with random casting stories out in the media already, I decided to share my own thoughts. This isn’t about the articles or any inside tips I have. This is just a fun discussion about the catastrophe that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has become.
Let’s be honest. This was easily the worst season of the entire series. I don’t feel like there’s one single source or person to blame. We last saw the ladies enjoying sunny Puerto Rico. Drinks were flowing, laughter filled the air and the gorgeous group of girlfriends had a blast together. JUST KIDDING! It was a hot mess filled with lies, accusations, tears, and, of course, the infamous tabloids. Lisa ended up ditching the ladies and running off to another resort. There was also a boring filler episode about Yolanda and Kim’s daughters going away to college. I didn’t even bother recapping it. The best part was Kim’s super sexy ex. We saw the wives up in arms over a harmless piece of jewelry last episode and while it all seemed like a lot of nonsense, Lisa was caught blatantly backtracking and lying. The worst part about it was how trivial her tale was. No reason to make things up, just tell the truth. It’s a necklace. It’s not worth it. Last time we saw Brandi and Kyle’s issues with Lisa come to a head as the two former enemies finally found some common ground in their new shared enemy. Their hike turned into a tea party with the new friends griping about their former bestie and her never ending lies. Mauricio and Ken’s joint birthday party ended with a long-brewing blowout between Kyle and Carlton who finally gave up the charade and gave into all the nasty things they’ve been thinking about each other and saving for their talking heads.
